Acuri – Music is Like the Sun…

Part I

You are invited to learn about ACURI, the wonderful Brazilian jazz fusion band.  “Music is like the sun and the wind; it is a part of all things…”  This is their feeling, their perspective and philosophy. It is how they approach music and how they play it.  In keeping with the tradition of their ancestors, they understand that music is a living energy and is not separate from any other aspect of their lives.   Their first language is Portuguese, but in their own English words, here they are.   This is part one of our introduction of Acuri.
